Ode to Olie

The Terry Family recently stopped by for a visit. We went to Yellowstone and saw cool animals and gorgeous scenery; however, looking through my camera you couldn't tell we saw anything. Every picture was of Olivia. So here she is in all her glory. . .

To infinity and beyond!

School is done for a little while and I can now try to catch up on some overdue posting.

Sam came to visit us at the end of June. We had such a fun time. There is a great food co-op in the area that I have heard so much about. The Saturday that Sam was here was our first pick-up. It was very exciting. We went straight home and ate a couple of the plums.





Later that night we decided to go to the drive-in. It was a double-feature of Toy Story 3 and Prince of Persia. I am sure that people wondered what was going on with the three of us in the truck.



This was especially concerning when Sam and Mark would alternate kissing my cheeks.



It just so happens that Target changed their decorations to coincide with our movie viewing. Say hello to French Buzz. . . J'adore.

Yellowstone Virgin

Mom and Dad came to visit over Memorial Day Weekend. We thought that it would be fun to go to Yellowstone because Dad hadn't been since he was a little boy and Mom was a Yellowstone Virgin. We had such a fun and eventful trip despite the terrible weather. We saw tons of buffalo and elk, a grizzly bear running along a hill, and a black bear. Eagle-eye Mom also spotted a Rocky Mountain Big Horn Sheep, but my favorite was an elk calf that had just been born. It was still tripping over its legs. Remember how clumsy Bambi was when he was first born. Now instead of a dear picture an elk and then instead of a cartoon picture it in real-life. . . It was awesome. Unfortunately we didn't get any pictures of the animals.

We did get this picture of a brand-new baby bison on the other side of the mommy. It was so precious and tiny

Super Late Mother's Day Post

Everyone put up precious pictures for Mother's Day, and after BDD informed me that I was in fact his first daughter to become a mother, I had to show off the "kids."

Then we threw an old mattress and our Adam and Eve sleeping bag in the back of the truck and went to the drive-in to see Ironman 2!
