Yellowstone Virgin

Mom and Dad came to visit over Memorial Day Weekend. We thought that it would be fun to go to Yellowstone because Dad hadn't been since he was a little boy and Mom was a Yellowstone Virgin. We had such a fun and eventful trip despite the terrible weather. We saw tons of buffalo and elk, a grizzly bear running along a hill, and a black bear. Eagle-eye Mom also spotted a Rocky Mountain Big Horn Sheep, but my favorite was an elk calf that had just been born. It was still tripping over its legs. Remember how clumsy Bambi was when he was first born. Now instead of a dear picture an elk and then instead of a cartoon picture it in real-life. . . It was awesome. Unfortunately we didn't get any pictures of the animals.

We did get this picture of a brand-new baby bison on the other side of the mommy. It was so precious and tiny
