Henry Ryan Terry

I went to Colorado for two weeks in August to see
the newest (at the time) addition to the Olson grandbabies:
Henry Ryan Terry

Olivia and I spent a lot of time together, but I stole any chance to hold Hank I could.
Here are just a few of my favorites from the trip.

Cold Ham Water

I had so much fun and was reluctant to come back to the real world.
Now I am just wishing I could go to Princeton for two weeks.

Exploring

Mark and I came to Jackson on our honeymoon but it was still covered in snow and freezing. It was fun to be in Jackson in the summer. We heard that the show Modern Family is going to be filming in Jackson in the next week or two for their season opener. Mark and I tried to think of the different things that they would film and try to go there. I doubt they will do any of this stuff, but we had fun.

This was a cool park that had bouldering.

Motorcycle Diaries

Mark and I went for a little weekend trip on our bike to Jackson Hole and Grand Teton National Park. We had so much fun exploring Jackson (more on that later) and cruising around on our hog.

Trek 2011: The Faithful Fitch Family

Mark and I had such a great time on the trek. The first night we met the kids we had to make a family flag. We left the kids to the flag while we had last minute instruction. When we came back the flag said Faithful Fitch Family. I thought it was adorable. Later they told me that the oldest boy, Taylor, gathered the kids and told them to come up with all the f-words they could think of. I guess the other kids just looked at him and laughed. Thankfully they stuck with Faithful.

Here are some of the highlights from our trip.

after the women's pull the boys let the girls ride the rest of the way home.

the boys insited on pulling the girls up that big hill in the distance.
on the last day all the boys said that this was their favorite part.
